Frosted Fox Baker

Hi, everyone! Sorry for not posting in a while; I've been really busy recently. As you know from my blog title I'm headed to college soon and I've been working a lot trying to earn money for tuition. Between that and trying to get everything ready for me to leave I have much less free time than I anticipated. I haven't baked anything recently (except my grad party cake which I forgot to document....) but I wanted to update y'all on what's been going on. I had my graduation party on the first and It was so amazing to see everyone who came. I made quite a few friends of the underclassmen in choir (especially Bel Canto) and I'm really going to miss them. Father's Day has always been a very special holiday for me. While I love both of my parents very much, I've always had a special connection with my dad, as many daughters do. This year was extra special because we got to celebrate with my half-sister, Cassie, whom I had never met before. The day started out with everyone, I think, feeling a little wary, but that feeling quickly faded as we all fell into continuous laughter at each other's stories. Needless to say, it was a good day, made even better, by cupcakes. When I told Cassie I loved to bake we quickly decided to bake cupcakes while she was here. Cookies are a wonderful thing, aren't they? There are so many ways to make even the most common Chocolate chip cookie. They can be cakey and soft, or sweet and crisp; you can make them big or small; thick or thin, eat them fresh out of the oven (or even before you put them in!). The point is, there really isn't a right  way to make a cookie. Each person has their own preference and that's okay. So, my name is Hannah, and I'm an aspiring baker.
